Sophie Hansen Workshop

It was a while back when things were more ‘normal’ my sister in-law and I headed to the Blue Mountains Photography Workshop with Sophie Hansen from Local is Lovely and My Open Kitchen. Photographer Luisa Brimble did an amazing job instructing us on the art of manual photography. Stephanie Somebody created these gorgeous scenes in some of the images.

It was my first foray into all things food & lifestyle photography. But it was also a sweet chance to eat some of Sophie Hansens beautiful food and chat to her about what she does with her business. Sophies “My Open Kitchen’ is all about storytelling, farming, food and community. It was here that I learned a bit more about preparing and styling food and lifestyle shots, we discussed different styles, editing choices, conformation, and manual settings for the best images.
