GPO HOTEL

The GPO Hotel was redeveloped in the trendy Fortitude Valley Brisbane. The old building was given a facelift by award winning architects Hecker Phelan who also designed the Establishment Sydney. The brief was to design a logo that would reflect the traditional red and white ‘post’ colours but with a modern twist. The GPO has an al la carte restaurant ‘740’, a cellar door, Telegraph Bar and Restaurant and 2 more bars thus the branding had to be adapted for all the different areas of the GPO.

The different areas of the GPO were defined by the use of different colours with the same blurred image as the background. The brand is used very successfully through signage, corporate identity, and promotional material.
