The 2026 Cotton Grower of the Year Field Day held at Merrilong Spring Ridge attracted over 300 people from farmers to industry professionals. The Brownhill family run an iconic business which is now spearheaded by the younger Brownhill generations under a company structure. The field day incorporated panel discussions, farm tours exploring award-winning crops and discussions from CSD and Pinnacle Agriculture agronomists. It was a mammoth effort to get 300 people across the farm to 3 different crop locations. The event was supported by local school parent groups, and charities to feed the 300 visitors and it was a huge success as country people gather once again to support each other. I love photographing this event for Cotton Australia – it’s an honour to support Australian Agriculture.
